MY Space

April 12th, 2007 by Celia

I’ve done it.

I’ve succumbed to the peer pressure and have created…. *dum, dum, dum* A Myspace page!

Take a look: www.myspace.com/celiakyle

I’ve kinda sorta managed to get the page to match my site. Woo Hoo for me!

In other news, I’m started a new story. It’s a Christmaseque/Holiday story with a darker twist. I’m really excited about this one and I don’t want to gab about it Toooo much. Don’t want to jinx myself, ya know?

Anyway…  Happy writing!

Anxiety

December 4th, 2006 by Celia

So, I suffer from a bit of anxiety when it comes to certain things. Specifically doctors visits. Almost every doctor I’ve been to in my adult life (meaning visits without mommy there to hold my hand) has commented that I suffer from anxiety. I get it. They get it. We all get that I have a problem with going to the doctor whether needles are involved.

So, knowing that… Why is it that if I start going to one doctor within a group practice that I can’t switch to a different doctor within the practice that makes me feel more comfortable? Admittedly, I only got to see the other doctor because my normal doctor wasn’t in the office, but *whine* I like him so much beterrrrrrrrr! *sniff*

Now I’m getting sneaky… I’ve found out that he also has another office that’s just his. Mwhahahahaha! Off Ce goes to the other doctor while the normal doctor is none the wiser. :D

I love getting my way…

Hello Mudder

November 28th, 2006 by Celia

Thankfully there’s no hello fadder to follow that. Whew! Doged a bullet with that one.

For those of you that aren’t following what I’m saying, I’ll clue you in. From 8/5/06 to this past Friday, 11/26/06, my parents had no clue that I wrote Erotic Romance. Hear that mom? It’s Erotic Romance, not porn! Anyway, I sent mom an email while I was there visiting and of course what appeared at the bottom of my email? My signature saying “hey, here’s my website”. *groan*

Needless to say, it didn’t take her long to check it out. Bright and early Friday morning I got hit with “I didn’t know my daughter wrote porn!” *groan again*

I’m not embarassed by what I write. I enjoy reading erotic romance and enjoy writing it even more… But having your mom find out that way is almost like having her walk into your bedroom when you’re getting down with the hubby. It’s embarassing!

Anyway, I’d like to throw a big shout out to “The Mom” now that she’s found my webby home.

Quirky

November 16th, 2006 by Celia

Not “special” or “weird”…quirky.  That’s the label I prefer.  Let’s be realistic, as a writer there’s got to be a little something about me that’s not right.  I mean really… I walk around with character’s voices in my head at all times… Thankfully they aren’t the ”white coat” kinda voices.  They’re more the… “God, damn… that’s it Chris, suck my cock.”  kinda voices.  :D

Now THOSE are the fun kinda voices.  LOL  Of course then Mr. C looks over my shoulder and realizes that the character speaking is a guy… and so is Chris.  Jeez, you’d think I had the white coat voices in my head!  Now we just pretend that Chris is a girl.  :)

Next week I’ll have to pretend that the voices don’t have full-on-throw-down-wild-monkey-sex.  Why you ask?  I’m going to visit The Mom.  She knows that I am doing this whole writing thing and that I enjoy it, but she doesn’t exactly know that the words cock & pussy appear regularly… or at all.  She thinks I’ve been toiling away at writing grocery store romance.  *snort*  Yeah, right.

So, the laptop will be going with me to Montgumerie, Alabamah next.  (Yes, I know how to spell.  But the twang returns when I start talking of heading home)  Wish me luck in the land of the twangs, I’ll need it.  People there are… nice… and verryyyyyyy slow.  Honestly, they’re probably no slower than the average person, but down here in the land of the sun and eighty degree Christmas’s… People move a heck of a lot faster without the ma’am’s and sir’s.

Wish me luck and a heap load of tolerance!

Sick

November 13th, 2006 by Celia

I hate being sick.  What sucks more is that I’m sick enough to feel reallllyyyy shitty, but not sick enough to garner any sympathy from those around me.  :(  I’ve had a cough for two weeks and I feel generally exhausted, but that’s it.  No runny nose or yucky sinuses.  Oh!  I’ve had pink eye off and on for the last two weeks…  Still no sympathy.  So, I’m giong to go crawl to the couch and be a bum for the next week until I get to mommy’s for Thanksgiving.  Being with mommy always makes things better.

First Post on My New Blog!

November 1st, 2006 by Celia

Hey Guys and Gals!  Welcome to my blog now hosted on my site.  Operative words in that sentence…my.  I was so tired of blogger deciding to crap out on me for no good reason that I’ve moved my daily ramblings to my own site.  There are no immediate plans to move my story blog over as it would take work to reformat the layout for Wordpress and after futzing with this one, I’m feeling lazy.  :D  So….whatcha think?  I kinda like it here…  It’s a little more me!  Yummy purples and brown.  It makes me feel warm and fuzzy and reminds me of chocolate.  Mmmmm…..

So, what am I working on…  Shara has my story Wicked Shift that she’s looking over and providing a crit for.  She’s said she enjoys the story, but there are some things that may be missing.  As soon as she gets it back to me I’ll be adding in yummy stuff and I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll be able to submit it to a publisher by the end of the year.  I’m going to start writing book 2 in the series tonight if all goes well.  Training a newbie at work has been stealing all of my creative juices lately, but a quick chat with Shara this afternoon got them flowing again.  (Minds out of the gutter people!)

What else is going on???  Oh!  Boobs are feeling better!  Thanks for all of the well wishes and soft cyber hugs I received.  Mr. Celia is still being all gropey.  Do men not realize that they’ll get a heck of a lot further with a woman if he is tender and loving as opposed to all grrrr…. all the time.  I admit…I like a little rough and tumble every now and again, but if my boobs are sore, you will get a hell of a lot further if you’re soft and tender.  Tender dammit, tender!!!  Blahhh!  Whatever.  He’s not getting any until he looks up the word in the dictionary.  So there.

Have a great day!

Celia

PS.  Is anyone else in shock over the fact that today is November 1st?  Damn.  XXX-mas is around the corner…

No Means No…Dammit!

October 27th, 2006 by Celia Kyle

I know I said I was going to stay away this week, what with all of the training I’m supposed to be doing, but something happened this week that I needed to rant about and you guys get to benefit from my ravings. ;)

Ok, so…at certain times during a woman’s monthly cycle (no, not at that time) a woman’s body can become extra sensitive. That happens to me when I ovulate. Not only do I get sharp cramp like pains, the twins also become VERY sensitive. Meaning…don’t touch them. At. All. So, what does Mr. Celia do upon hearing that the twins hurt a lot….he touches them, often. To help describe my level of pain, let me tell you a few things:

1) Wearing a bra hurts! BAD! It hurts to put it on and once on, I’m ok. Taking it off…that’s another tear filled story.
2) Taking my normal steaming hot shower brings me to tears. Why? It’s not from the temperature. The spray hits the pointy parts of the twins and almost brings me to my knees. Mr. Celia has found me teary eyed after my shower and has always checked with me to see if there was anything he could do. My answer is always: Yes, don’t touch me.

So, Mr. Celia KNOWS how painful it is and what does he do when he passes by me???? He cops a feel. What part of it hurts does he not get? And when I look at him pointedly and yell “ow”, he’s all “Oh, that hurts? Oh, yeah. I forgot.”

Next time he forgets….I’m gonna forget that certain parts of his anatomy don’t like teeth. Grrrr…..

Ok, rant over…for now.

I hope everyone’s week went well!!!

You want me to….WORK?!

October 24th, 2006 by Celia Kyle

Yes, folks, it’s true. My job actually wants me to *shudder* work. LOL Real life has reared its ugly head with the hire of a new associate. And guess who gets to train all new associates? You guessed it….Me. So, for at least the next week I’ll be in training hell. Pray for me.

I’ll still be posting additions to Saturday Night Sin during this time, but regular updates and piccys of hot nekkid men will be few and far between. Sorry! Hope everyone has a wonderful week and I’m crossing my fingers that next week will work out to be a little slower for me.

Irrational Fears

September 12th, 2006 by Celia Kyle

Everyone has a few irrational fears that they like to keep to themselves. Even today’s hottie is afraid. See how he’s cringing away from all that cold water. *Don’t worry baby, we’ll take care of you* Now to promote sharing, I’ll post my fears first. Here goes my big leap:

1. The dark - Why? Things go bump in the night. Hello? How you could even ask why is beyond me.

2. Getting into bed b/c something under it will get me. I have to actually walk quickly (ok, almost run) and jump into bed b/c the things that go bump in the night live under there while I’m awake.

3. Drains, Sewer Covers and drains, Sinks, Toilets - This one’s a little bit strange I’ll admit and the fear doesn’t keep me from going near all of those things. It just makes me be a smidge more ‘aware’ I suppose. The reason, Stephen King’s It. That damn scary clown came out of the drains and lived in the sewers people! It gave me nightmares for weeks when I saw the movie and now I can’t look at a sink without thinking about it. *shiver* That movie is evil!

So, those are the few fears I’m willing to admit to today. What are yours? And remember, just because it’s irrational, doesn’t make it any less real.
