Okay, so I have one series: Office of Kink and Karma.  I dig it.  The series doesn’t have a recurring character beyond Eric and the secondaries getting their own books.

How do ya’ll (readers/writers/whomever) feel about sequels involving the same characters?  I’m thinking, super duper hard, on making the second book in Jaguar Pride about Paige and Vincent again.  This one would be titled To Have and To Shift and would pick up where Wicked Shift left off.  Maybe more exploration of Stephen and Lukas’s relationship while seeing how Paige and Vincent fair in the were world.

Google talk.  Why, you ask…  Because recently, I submitted a manuscript to one of my publishers.  It goes straight to the acquisitions director for consideration.  I got an email from her after submission stating that it would be a few weeks before she’d have an answer.  No worries, right?

Wrong.

She’s on Googletalk.  Like, right now.  Her little button is green next to her name and I am itching to send her an IM to ask if she’s read my story yet.  I do not have very good self-control and this is killing me.  Ugh.

Liquid Silver ~ I’m pretty sure I’m thisclose to being done with Wicked Shift edits.  Yee Haw!  My editor A says it’s been shipped off to The Editing Goddess of LSB and barring any major kinks… I’m good to go. 

Changeling Press ~ I’ve done two rounds of Office of Kink and Karma: Touch Me edits.  Please, dear God, let this last round be it….

Changeling Press ~ I’ve contraced a stand alone (for now) Yeti! Were?  That’s one book title folks, not two.  It’s going to have some close calls and LOTS of hot sex.  Like, LOTS.

Changeling Press ~ I’ve kinda sorta contracted a Rookery Cove Aphrodisiacs book (yet to be titled).  Actually, I picked a title, I’m just waiting on approval to send in the contract.  Um, Tri Me will probably come out before this one and for those of you that love my man-on-man-on-woman loving.  This will be a must have!

Um, can we say wow?  WOW!!!!!!  In two months, I’ve gone from unpubbed to having… SEVEN contracts.  And that doesn’t even count Love Defined which is back out for submission/consideration.  AND it doesn’t count a super short I’ve got out for consideration either.  Holy fruck on a truck!  As Shar would say, I’m kicking arse!  LOL

I got the email yesterday introducing me to my editor at LSB.  I have an editor!  Woot!  How cool is that?  True, I’ll probably hate edits, but I’m loving having an editor.  :D  Actually, I think I love being able to say that I have an editor more than anything.  Tee Hee!
