Celia
Once in a lifetime thing going on here folks. Yup, this installment of AiS is not about Me, but about NKOTB.
I’m about to date myself, but when New Kids on the Block came out, I was very nearly their number one fan. I would have been their number one fan had my mother found the NKOTB fabric at Wal-Mart and made me the curtains I asked for, but whatever.
So, NKOTB has decided to try and make a comeback. Um, who told them this was a good idea? I mean, seriously? Dudes, you’re old. I mean, I’m old so I know you sure as hell are. Leave the teeny boppin’ to the teeny boppers and move on. You no longer have the pre-adolescent high pitched voices you once had and instead of looking cool as you pop and lock on the stage, you look like my dad trying to bust the robot. N.O.
Don’t believe me? Think it can’t be that bad? Let me assure you… it is.
I rest my case.

OMG!!!! Too funny. They’re all still gorgeous, a couple more so since they’ve finally grown into their looks, but it’s like watching a bunch of buisness men try to dance and sing. The voices are no longer right for the songs and they’re really stiff and stilted when they dance. The worst part is the concerts will probably sell out anyway because of all us former fans wanting to relive the good old days of Seveteen and acne cream.

I’m still offended that Jordan Knight did not answer the fan letter I wrote him when I was ten. That fucking son of a bitch. Just think, if he did, then I’d have been at that show, and he could be getting the best blow job of his life right now.
However, I still think Joey is cute. He did manage to age well. I also really like his solo album. I still like ‘I love you came to late’

Okay being a typical american who has to watch the wreck happen, i went to YouTube and the NKOTB website to watch a couple more clips. All i can say is that like most perishables, boy bands should come with an expiration date. After 15 years it’s silly of them to try and make a comeback.
