Like my characters, I’m close to the end…  Close to the great big sigh when all my muscles relax and the building tension and anticipation flows from my body and into the ether.  Unlike my characters, I’m not have an orgasm.  LOL  Maybe a litergasm…  That could work.  It’s the feeling of accomplishment from finishing a manuscript. 

What?  Another one?  Yes.  Another one.  Only, this one isn’t related to Changeling and has nothing to do with the oodles of contracts I have with them at the moment?  What?  You found time?  Yes, somewhere, I found time.  Just, don’t ask me where.

I’m thisclose to finishing Battered Not Broken.  Seriously.  One last ritual of claiming foursome sex scene and I can begin polishing for submission.  Whew!  Goldilocks and the Three Bears has been kinked to the max with a drop of angst for good measure.  I loved writing these four characters and with any luck, it may be the beginning of a series on Indian animal shifters, the Anikotas.  <-Yep, made that up all by myself.

Now, the real question is… can I get someone to contract it.  I’ve got my eye on one pub in particular *cough* Loose-Id *cough*… But, we’ll see if I can weasel my way in there.  I say weasel, because I still can’t understand how any other pub has let me through the door.  It’s like they think I can write or something.  Pshyeah!  As if, right?

Well, I’m going to cut this off now, cause, ya know, the editor might be reading and thinking “Gee, Ce, where are those edits while you’re off writing?  Hmm…..”

So, um, yeah.  C?  I’m editing!  Promise!

ETA: I finished. Whew! I wrote 13k on Saturday and finished off with another 2k on Sunday. Wow. I’ve shipped it off to another well-known and amazing multi-partner writer for a brief crit. Anne Douglas writes menages like nobody’s business… hopefully she can make some recommendations regarding my foursome. I also managed to finish my edits of Tri Me (like a good little author). This week will be all about self-editing Anikotas: Battered Not Broken, writing the blurb and synopsis, and writing book 4 in the Kink and Karma series, Love Me.

Oh, did you catch the word before my newly finished books title, Anikotas? Yeah, it’s the start of a series folks. Book 2 will be Anikotas: Out. I swear, I can’t seem to write a stand alone to save my life. Shoot. Me. Now. LOL
