My Literary Red-Headed Step Child

July 16th, 2007 by Celia

Yep, I’ve got one. Do you? Do you have a story that you’ve spent so much time on that you actually dread working on it. But then there’s something inside you that won’t let you forget about the story.

My literary red-headed step child is Love of a Good Woman. I did good this time around though. I actually rewrote two whole chapters before moving on to something else. Go me!

So, now I’m working on Serve Me. The third short in my Kink and Karma series. The unnamed publisher that still has the first story in their hands for consideration is killing me. Don’t publishers know that authors are an impatient bunch? Grrr…

Anyway, I’ve also got a couple of other ms’s (<-is that right?) in the works. You can check my blog sidebar for my current WIP’s and where I’m at with them. The story you see up top that is actually finished? That’s my sub for Samhain’s ‘On the Prowl’ antho. Wish me luck! Only a couple more weeks before that bad boy is finished with the polishing and shipped off!

That, to the death of my sanity, is McCabes 2 - but I’m hoping this time I’ve got it right!

You only need to ask if you want a hand with a cp …

Thanks Anne! I’ll probably take you up on that once this ‘thing’ is finished. LOL I’m doing a complete rewrite and using this first draft as a really in-depth outline. LMAO I’m super close to wrapping up a novella series. Once that’s done, the red-headed kid and I will be having a meeting of the minds. :D
