So, I talked to The Mom today and I asked her to pray that my story is contracted/bought by this publisher I submitted to. Here’s how the conversation played out:
Ce: So, are you gonna pray for me?
The Mom: What? Why?
Ce: I submitted my story, it’s already been rejected once…
The Mom: Aw! I’m sorwy.
Ce: Yeah, but they gave me pointers on what to fix and I tweaked it and sent it somewhere else.
The Mom: And you want me to pray that it get’s bought?
Ce: Yeah.
The Mom: You want me to pray to God that my daughter’s PORN book gets published.
Ce: Well…
The Mom: *Laughing hysterically* You want me to pray to God that your PORN gets published? *Still laughing*
Ce: But they’re in a committed relationship…That helps, right? Like…”Dear God, please help my daughter’s PORN book get published…The main character’s are in a committed relationship, if that helps”
The Mom: *Still Laughing* I don’t think we’ll put this on Granny’s prayer list….
But at least I’ve got The Mom praying for me, right?

I’ve done it again. I didn’t let this last rejection get me down and I’ve submitted my story to another publisher.
Please bow you heads in prayer, kneel in prayer, or shake your groove thing to whichever diety you choose. No diety? No problem! I’ve always believed in the power of positive thinking.
So, cross your fingers, toes, and nose that this newest submission is accepted.
Hugs!

It’s that time people! Eleven (maybe it’s twelve) days ago Wordpress released version 2.2 “Getz”.
If you haven’t upgraded yet…do it now! It’s not hard! I’ve done seven sites so far. This latest version has over 200 security fixes as well as widgets. Not too sure what widgets can do for you, but isn’t the name just too cute? Don’t you want to be able to walk up to some one and say “Ooooh! I’ve got widgets!”?
Anyway. Upgrade!
This has been an announcement from the crazy lady that loves Wordpress. Had this been a real emergency, she would’ve have made the announcement covered in whipped cream…and maybe chocolate.
Thank You.

Success is counted sweetest
By those who ne’er succeed.
To comprehend a nectar
Requires sorest need.
Not one of all the purple Host
Who took the Flag today
Can tell the definition
So clear of Victory
As he defeated-dying
On whose forbidden ear
The distant strains of triumph
Burst agonized and clear!
I submitted my first ms to a publisher and they passed on it. Not the end of the world, I’m sure it is the first of many. Unfortunately, that knowledge doesn’t remove the sting, now does it?

Literalseduction.com ~ Authors Seducing Readers… Literally.
What? Oh yeah, baby!
I’ve started a new site and its main purpose is to help you seduce your readers…using your website! Geez! Out of the gutters people! The site offers a free subdomain/hosting, free Wordpress theme design, general webby help, graphic design… Okay, well you name it and I offer it… For Free!
But… Why? Because when I started futzing with this web stuff I had no clue and it took me forever to come up with a design that I was happy with. Plus, custom designed sites and graphics are EXPENSIVE!
I haven’t even published a book yet and they want me to pay what for a custom site? No thanks!
My fee is a link back to the Literalseduction.com site and placement of this little button in your sidebar:

How cute is that?
So, if you’re an author that desperately needs some assistance… drop me a line. I what better price can you get than free?
