Ok, so this is the second time I’m writing this post and now I can’t remember everything that I had typed before. (Damn Blogger) Here’s what bits I can remember:

I don’t have much to report on today other than my recent advances on Good Dom. It’s coming along nicely at a smidge over 14k words today. (Yay!) I’ve kinda accepted that the majority of my writing is going to have to be done on the weekends. The hubby is just too *needy* during the week. Spend time with me, talk to me, pay attention to me. Doesn’t he realize that I’m writing? Um, Helloooo? *sigh* So, I’m going to try and limit myself to one scene or 1k words per night. That will still leave me time to pay attention to ‘the man’ and make a little head way with my works.

My works you ask? Let’s have a little run down of what I’ve got cooking. Well, there’s my Love of series (3 books so far - 1’s done, yay!), an infinitely complicated shifter story whose idea was provided by Jan, a vamp story, and another m/m with a dash of a lady for good measure. Oh! And I had a dream last night that’ll probably be blurbed by the end of the night for the beginnings of another story. Blurb, don’t you just love that word? It’s just fun to say. Blurb.

That’s how I ‘plan’ my works. I don’t outline or plot out. I write what will probably end up being very close to the book blurb before the book is even written. It captures the information that most authors have in the first three chapters of their book and gives me a good starting point. Ya know, since I can’t plot out past the first three chapters anyway. Why would I think that far ahead? If I know what’s going to happen by the end of the book, I could’ve spent all of that thinking time writing and still come to the same conclusion with upteen thousand words below my belt. But you don’t need to listen to me, I’m just starting with this whole writing thing and maybe I’m just…weird.
